Sleeping Through the Storm

[This has been posted late. This was originally written last September 15.]

I am writing this as our country is being hit by a Category 5 hurricane. Although my place is not directly hit by the storm, I can already say that this typhoon is super strong as the wind gushes with a loud noise through the trees and roofs. The hurricane will directly hit the northern part of our country and it could cost destruction of nature, properties, injuries or even death. Authorities has already been preparing for this hurricane so I positively believe that casualties will be minimized or better yet eliminated.

As I went outside to check the situation, upon seeing how strong the wind is, it reminded me of a certain story in the bible. This is the story of Jesus sleeping through a storm. In Matthew 8:23-27 (can also be found on Mark 4:35-41), Jesus along with His disciples are crossing a lake when a storm/windstorm came. It was so furious that the waves swept over the boat. The disciples of Jesus were startled and panicked while Jesus was in a corner sleeping peacefully. Yes, you read that right! Jesus was just simply sleeping. His disciples then woke him up, in fear and is trembling. Jesus woke up and though He questioned His disciples’ faith, he still rebuked the winds and the waves and it became completely calm. The disciples were amazed and even asked who Jesus is for He is able to command the winds and the waves.

This story or rather history points out two types of attitude during a storm. And when I say storm, it’s not just the weather condition but also our life condition. I’m pretty sure you all have heard the term “storms of life”. It is when we start facing life challenges.

The first attitude that I want to point out here and the attitude that we should not have is the attitude of the disciples.

Verse 25 says that ‘The disciples went and woke him, saying, “Lord, save us! We’re going to drown!”‘.

I actually find it great that His disciples went to Jesus to ask for help telling him to save them. That’s good because in life, we need Jesus so that we can be saved. Although the disciples were actually scared here. They are in fear and even declared and assumed that they are going to drown. They went to Jesus and bothered waking him up because they are scared that because of the strong wind and waves, the boat will sink and that they are going to drown and eventually die.

I call this kind of attitude lack of trust or uncertainty.

I coudn’t really blame the disciples for being scared because I might be scared as well If I were them but there is a difference when Jesus is with you.

I believe that although sleeping, Jesus knew that a storm is coming. He knows that a storm is passing yet he chose to sleep through it. I believe that the reason why this story is in the bible is for us to learn to be calm through the storm.

This is the second attitude and the right attitude that we should have during the storms in our life.

Many of us would pray to God to calm the storm when actually God wants us to be calm during the storm. He wants us to put our trust, our faith in Him so that He can move in us and through us.

There are situations in our life that our calmness, our composure, our identity will be tested. Like when someone tries to bully you.
Or when someone talks bad about you.
When you look at your bill and doesn’t know how you’re going to pay for it.
When somebody breaks your heart.
When you get sick.
It’s so easy to be moved by our emotions and be angry, be anxious, be depressed, be fearful. It’s so easy to let these emotions burst and start making decisions out of it which more often than not are reckless.
And we start doing stupid things which we regret later on.

I believe that God wants us to be calm in spite of whatever storm we have in our lives. I believe that God wants us to take a pause for a while, take a deep breath and start putting our faith in Him. In whatever situation, whatever challenges, whatever circumstances, whatever problems, let’s be calm and trust in Him. Let us not make our emotions be the source of our actions but God be the wisdom of our undertaking.

What I Say VS What Jesus Says

This is what I say

I tell myself that all my prayers are in vain
All the words that I utter disappears as it vanishes in the air

I should worry much
because on the table there’s not much
and in my thirst, nothing will quench
for the same shirt I still have to wear even if it’s drenched

I am insignificant
I may wander all I want
be lost and be out of the crowd
but no one would want me found

I am insulted, persecuted and falsely accused
and I have no choice but to simply infuse

The thief will break in, steal and kill
destroy my whole being
and I’ll be left with nothing

No way
No truth
No life
I just walk a winding path
a full serving of lies
where death is a certain demise

This is what I say
but what I say is not how my life should sway
for this is what Jesus says

Jesus says that all my prayers are being heard
and aside from being heard it is actually being answered

I should not worry
for in Him provision is plenty
He is the water of life
He covers us with best suit and tie

I am significant
and my attention is all that He wants
I may run but the chase will not stop
I’ll get tired but He will not

I may get insulted or persecuted
but He is a mighty defender
and though the thief exists
Jesus’ protection also persists

He is the way
the truth
and the life
and in Him you are found
and in life you are bound

This is what Jesus says
and whatever He says
will not be swayed
for it is forever and never will change

This is what Jesus says

You Exist For A Reason

Many of us seeks purpose.

A cause.

An explanation.

A justification.

An answer to the question.

The reason for creation.

We have come up with questions such as,

What is the point?

What is the intention?

What is the aim?

What is the objective?

What is the goal?

What is the plan?

What is the ambition?

What is the aspiration?

What is the advantage?

What is the benefit?

What is the use?

What is the function?

What is the role?

What is the value?

What is the merit?

What is the worth?

What is the profit?
A lot of different questions, a lot of different answers but one thing is certain.

You exist for a reason.

God wouldn’t bother to spend His wisdom in creating a planet that will sustain your existence.

And though we fell short and sinned against God He still provided for our redemption.

Even though the cost is His Sons’s crucifixion.

God’s everlasting love covers us.

And I don’t think that God would spend that much if He does not value us.

You exist for a reason.

There is a reason for your existence.

A specific purpose.

In Jeremiah chapter 1 verse 5 God said that “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you. Before you were born, I sanctified you, I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”

God knew you.

He knows your name. He even knows the count of your hair and in your attention He despairs.

You exist for a reason.

You breath for a reason.

And the very oxygen that composes the air that you breath were created for the very same exact reason.

You exist for a reason.

There is a reason for your existence.

A purpose for your persistence.

You don’t just consume space, the space was made to be consumed by you.

You have a purpose.

You exist for a reason.

No To Murder

Worthless,
useless,
insignificant,
unimportant,
stupid,
fool.

These are just some of the words that this world can throw at you.
People, experiences, past and present situations, all these things can start dictating and defining your life.
Making you think that your existence here on earth is not worth the fight.

Words like these can slowly contaminate your mind resulting into a mindset of unworthiness and a lifestyle of depression thus leading to that ultimate end called death.

And when I say death I am not over exaggerating but I’m stating a fact that some of us do not understand, some of us wouldn’t want to understand.

And I understand,

that sometimes we are just not aware,

aware of the reality that our words can kill,

your words can kill,

you can be a murderer.

I am not here to condemn rather I’m speaking to encourage.

Encourage everyone including myself to control our rage and defer from speaking words that can incur a vital damage.

Proverbs 18:21 says that,

“Death and Life are in the power of the tounge and those who love it will eat its fruit.”

Everyday we have a choice.

A choice to speak life or speak death.

A choice to provide encouragement or to commit murder.

We don’t gain from speaking ill unto others but rather we eat its consequences.

And before you get even cruel you should remember the golden rule.

“Do not do unto others what you don’t want others do unto you.”

It’s pretty plain and simple but for some reason we kept on missing the point.

Again, I am not speaking to condemn rather I’m speaking to encourage.

Because if the purpose of this message is to throw a stone then I should be the one to get struck first.

My encouragement to everyone is that we start speaking more of encouragement and motivation rather insolence and discrimination.

Words kill,

words give life;

they’re either poison or fruit

you decide.

Psalms 51:10

Today I was browsing my facebook newsfeed and I came across a post of a certain Christian page. The post is just a picture with the verse Psalms 51:10 in the New King James Version which says,

Create in me a clean heart, O God,
And renew a steadfast spirit within me.”

So I decided to meditate on this verse.

Whenever I meditate on a single verse, I always try to check other translations for me to be able to get more of it. I always look at the Amplified version of the verse. Psalms 51:10 in the Amplified version says,

Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right, persevering, and steadfast spirit within me.”

It’s actually just almost the same. It’s a prayer to GOD, a personal prayer to have a clean heart and a renewed spirit. Well, that’s my prayer today. In all honestly, that’s basically my prayer everyday as well. You see, even though I’m a believer and a follower of JESUS CHRIST, sometimes I still miss the mark and fail. There were times that I tend to judge, criticize and think of bad stuff about others. So I really want GOD to mold me and create in me a clean heart and a renewed spirit.

Reading the Amplified version of the verse does not seem to be enough for me today. I still feel hungry. So I did check The Message translation of the verse. In The Message translation, It actually gave the translation of the verses 10 -15. Here goes,

Soak me in your laundry and I’ll come out clean, scrub me and I’ll have a snow-white life. Tune me in to foot-tapping songs, set these once-broken bones to dancing. Don’t look too close for blemishes, give me a clean bill of health. God, make a fresh start in me, shape a Genesis week from the chaos of my life. Don’t throw me out with the trash, or fail to breathe holiness in me. Bring me back from gray exile, put a fresh wind in my sails! Give me a job teaching rebels your ways so the lost can find their way home. Commute my death sentence, God, my salvation God, and I’ll sing anthems to your life-giving ways. Unbutton my lips, dear God; I’ll let loose with your praise.” – Psalms 51:10-15 (The Message)

This one hit me on the spot! The message is just bam! I can’t even find the words to describe it. Haha. As I meditated on these verses I sorted out the results that we can become if we pray and let GOD create a clean heart in us.

* clean
* snow white life
* tuned into foot-tapping songs
* set to dancing
* clean bill of health
* a fresh start
* brought us back from the gray exile
* put a fresh wind in our sails
* a job, teaching people GOD’s ways
* our death sentence was cancelled

Awesome! Awesome! Just so awesome! GOD is so awesome. HIS words are always fresh and refreshing. My lips has been unbutton so I’ll let loose with YOUR praise!

What is your New Year’s reSOLUTION?

Happy New Year and welcome 2018!

IMG_8056

Every new year we consider it as new beginning. Another chance to start and another opportunity to make a significant change in our lives. For some of us we already start making plans throughout the year and and some start listing down and writing things that they will stop or start doing. We normally call it a “New Year’s Resolution”.

So what exactly a “New Year’s Resolution” is?

According to wikipedia.org, A New Year’s resolution is a tradition in which a person resolves to change an undesired trait or behavior, to accomplish a personal goal or otherwise improve their life.

A new year’s resolution contains a goal or set of goals that needs to be accomplished throughout the year. Popular goals includes resolutions to:

* Improve physical well-being: eat healthy food, lose weight, exercise more, eat better, drink less alcohol, quit smoking, stop biting nails, get rid of old bad habits.
* Improve mental well-being: think positive, laugh more often, enjoy life.
* Improve finances: get out of debt, save money, make small investments.
* Improve career: perform better at current job, get a better job, establish own business.
* Improve education: improve grades, get a better education, learn something new (such as a foreign language or music), study often, read more books, improve talents.
* Improve self: become more organized, reduce stress, be less grumpy, manage time, be more independent, perhaps watch less television, play fewer sitting-down video games.
* Take a trip.
* Volunteer to help others, practice life skills, use civic virtue, give to charity, volunteer to work part-time in a charity organization.
* Get along better with people, improve social skills, enhance social intelligence.
* Make new friends.
* Spend quality time with family members.
* Settle down, get engaged/get married, have kids.
* Pray more, be more spiritual.
* Be more involved in sports or different activities.
* Spend less time on social media. (such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Tumblr etc.)

New Year's resolutionsImage source: bigdogwraps.com

So do you have a New Year’s resolution? I do and I did have last year. Unfortunately I would say that I wasn’t able to comply 100% with the set of resolutions I had back then. A certain study shows that only 8 percent of people actually keep their New Year’s resolution. The most common reason for participants failing their New Years’ Resolutions was setting themselves unrealistic goals (35%), while 33% didn’t keep track of their progress and a further 24% forgot about it. About one in 10 respondents claimed they made too many resolutions.

I’m pretty sure that you already experienced listing down a resolution that you failed to comply or finish. In any case that you were able to keep all of your resolutions then that’s great! I envy you! Haha! You’re the best! But… do we really need to set up a New Year’s resolution every year?

I would say that we all need to make plans. We have to make sure that we have a goal in life. A purpose as to why we actually exist. Life is a journey, and is an exciting one. We need to have goals to improve and make our lives better. There are times that we also need to stop and/or start doing something. A new year’s resolution is a great and nice opportunity to make a new start but everyday can also be a new start. We can always change, set goals, and make plans whenever we want. It actually doesn’t have to wait until after New Year’s eve.

But how should we start?

There are a lot of books, articles and knowledgebase media applications that can give you tons of information when it comes to life goals, goal setting, and creating the best New Year’s resolution. But for me, before we actually start working on our resolutions, we need to first start knowing the SOLUTION.

The solution to whatever we’re about to put in our New Year’s resolution.

The solution for all of our plans to succeed.

The solution for us to have a bright future ahead.

The solution for us achieve our goals this year and the coming years.

The solution for us to change.

The solution which is Jesus Christ.

Yes, Jesus Christ is the solution.

Because of Jesus we have been redeemed and regained access to all of God’s words and promises.

“But now you have been united with Christ Jesus. Once you were far away from God, but now you have been brought near to him through the blood of Christ.” – Ephesians 2:13 NLT

We were once far away from God and does not have full access to His promises. All of our plans are actually bound to fail apart from God.

“Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.” – Proverbs 19:21 NIV

We need God in our lives. We need Him to direct us, to help us, and provide for us. We are incomplete without Him and our New Year’s resolution can be considered null without Him. God is the best director of our lives. He directs our path to make sure that we can walk in abundance. He is the one who will sustain us, preserve us and will help us until completion.

That is why we really need to know the solution first. We need to know who Jesus is. Know Jesus, accept Him and then God will show us the way regarding on how we are supposed to live our lives this 2018. We will be able to come up with a Spirit guided New Year’s resolution or maybe an actual plan for our future.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” – Jeremiah 29:11 NIV

It is great to have a New Year’s resolution but it is incomplete without the actual solution. Jesus is the solution, a free solution with no risk at all. So as you write down your plans for this year or your New Year’s resolution make sure to include the SOLUTION.

5 Reasons Why “YOU” matter.

There are times in our life that because of the things that we hear and the situations
that we experience, we start to define our worth based on our current situations or on what people say. There also comes a point wherein we start thinking about our
significance in this world and then we start feeling inferior and unimportant. We start to think less of ourselves then we start isolating.

I’d like to share you some facts from the word of God about how significant and how important you are. You matter.

1. You are God’s creation.

You are not a monkey, you are a creation. God created you in His image and  likeness. This is how precious you are to God as He even patterned you into His own image.

So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.” – Genesis 1:27 NKJV

2. You are a masterpiece.

You are not a random thought. You were not created just for the sake of having
a creation. God designed every detail of you in His image. You are His masterpiece and in fact, His best masterpiece. The book of Genesis chapter 1 verses 1 to 31 tells us the story of creation wherein God created everything including us. Notice that in
everything that God created He described it as “good” but not until He created us, you, in His own image when He described it as “very good”. That’s how much of a masterpiece you are.

Genesis 1:1-31
1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.
3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. 4 God saw that the light was
good, and he separated the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light “day,” and
the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day.
6 And God said, “Let there be a vault between the waters to separate water from water.”
7 So God made the vault and separated the water under the vault from the water above it. And it was so. 8 God called the vault “sky.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the second day.
9 And God said, “Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry
ground appear.” And it was so. 10 God called the dry ground “land,” and the gathered waters he called “seas.” And God saw that it was good.
11 Then God said, “Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds.” And it was so. 12 The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good. 13 And there was evening, and there was morning—the third day.
14 And God said, “Let there be lights in the vault of the sky to separate the day from
the night, and let them serve as signs to mark sacred times, and days and years, 15 and let them be lights in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth.” And it was so.
16 God made two great lights—the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars. 17 God set them in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth, 18 to govern the day and the night, and to separate light from darkness. And God saw that it was good. 19 And there was evening, and there was morning—the fourth day.
20 And God said, “Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the vault of the sky.” 21 So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living thing with which the water teems and that moves about in it, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. 22 God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the water in the seas, and let the birds increase on the earth.” 23 And there was evening, and there was morning—the fifth day.
24 And God said, “Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: the
livestock, the creatures that move along the ground, and the wild animals, each
according to its kind.” And it was so. 25 God made the wild animals according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.
26 Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals,[a] and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”
27 So God created mankind in his own image,    in the image of God he created them;    male and female he created them.28 God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”
29 Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. 30 And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds in the sky and all the creatures that
move along the ground—everything that has the breath of life in it—I give every green plant for food.” And it was so.
31 God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning—the sixth day.

3. God knows you.

Since you are God’s creation. He definitely knows every part of you. God did
not create you just to create you. He wants you and He knows your very being. You
matter to Him. You are important to Him.

Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations.” – Jeremiah 1:5 ESV

Indeed the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not be afraid; you are far
more valuable than many sparrows.” – Luke 12:7 AMP

4. God loves you.

He definitely does. He actually even gave His own Son for you. He sacrificed
His own Son for you/us to be saved from eternal punishment and experience life with and through Him.

For God so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that He [even] gave His [One and] [a]only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him [as Savior] shall not perish, but have eternal life.” – John 3:16 AMP

5. Jesus died for you.

We know that God gave His Son Jesus to die for us but Jesus himself has His own
free will to decide on His own. Yet, Jesus decided to still die for us even though He
knows what He is about to experience. He still decided to sacrifice and suffer for us.
That’s how much He loves us. He was actually thinking of you while He was hanging on that cross. That is why you matter. You are important. You are significant.

As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love.” – John 15:9 ESV

This is how much God values us. We are so important to Him and He knows you by name. So stop letting your situations or other peoples thoughts define your worth. You mean so much to Jesus and He is desperate for you. You are important and you matter.

5 Benefits of being a child of God.

As I have mentioned on my previous post, I’m going to
share to you some of the benefits of being a child of
God.

This will be part of my “Lima Series” wherein I’m going share to you 5 benefits, 5 how to’s and 5 truths of different topics.

In this post I’m going to give you five benefits of being a child of God patterned to the spelling of the word “child”.

CCovered

You are now inside God’s covering. Nothing can stand against you anymore. You are safe, secured and protected.

“What then shall we say to all these things? If God is
for us, who can be [successful] against us?” – Romans
8:31 Amplified Bible (AMP)

HHeir

You read it right! Being a child of God means that you  are now God’s heir. You are legally entitled of God’s  inheritance.

And if [we are His]children, [then we are His] heirs
also: heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ
[sharing His spiritual blessing and inheritance], if
indeed we share in His suffering so that we may also
share in His glory.” – Romans 8:17 Amplified Bible
(AMP)

IIdentified

No more identity crisis! As you have accepted Jesus Christ and became a child of God you are now identified through Christ Jesus.

I have been crucified with Christ [that is, in Him I
have shared His crucifixion]; it is no longer I who
live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in
the body I live by faith [by adhering to, relying on,
and completely trusting] in the Son of God, who loved
me and gave Himself up for me.” – Galatians
2:20Amplified Bible (AMP)

Therefore if anyone is in Christ [that is, grafted
in, joined to Him by faith in Him as Savior], he is a
new creature [reborn and renewed by the Holy Spirit];
the old things [the previous moral and spiritual
condition] have passed away. Behold, new things have
come [because spiritual awakening brings a new life].
– 2 Corinthians 5:17 Amplified Bible (AMP)

LLoved

You are loved! That’s why you became a child of God in the first place. You are loved regardless of what you may have done in the past. Regardless of the weight, your sins are no more. To Him, you are as precious as gold, more significant than any jewel in the world.

So he got up and went to his father. But while he was
still a long way off, his father saw him and was
filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son,
threw his arms around him and kissed him. The son said
to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and
against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your
son.’ “But the father said to his servants, ‘Quick!
Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on
his finger and sandals on his feet. Bring the fattened
calf and kill it. Let’s have a feast and celebrate.
For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he
was lost and is found.’ So they began to celebrate.” –
Luke 15:20-24 New International Version (NIV)

DDestined To Prosper

Since God is your Father, He doesn’t want to see you lacking but He wants you to prosper and enjoy an  abundant life. He has a promise for you and that is to  prosper!

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the
Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans
to give you hope and a future.” – Jeremiah 29:11New
International Version (NIV)

There you go! These are just some! There are still a lot of benefits you are gaining from being a child of God. It’s His promise to us, His gift. Remind yourself of these promises everyday and you will experience breakthroughs in your life!

Best, best FATHER.

Greetings!

So, this is officially my first blog post! Yey! I’m so glad I found the energy to make an article. HAHAHA!

On this post, I would like to share to you about God being our Father. The title I decided to use for this article is “Best, Best, Father”.

Yep! If you are a worshipper you could have heard of the song “Good, Good, Father” by Chris Tomlin and that’s where the title of this article came from but I made it more realistic. The reality is that God is not just a good father but He is the best! So there we have my title, Best Best Father.

If in any case you haven’t heard of the song, below is a youtube video that you can watch and listen to.

Just a reminder to my readers, the contents of this article are my own insight, opinion and based on the revelations I received from God. I can be right or I can be wrong depending on my skills but I have confidence in what God has given me and I will pursue on the mission that He has entrusted me and that is to inspire, motivate and be a channel of His love. I am always open for correction and excited for new learning so feel free drop your feedback!

So, let’s proceed.

All of us have a father. It is possible though that you may have grown up not having one but at least biologically we should have one.  And if you are reading this article and you grew up not experiencing having a father, please continue reading because I am here to tell you that whatever circumstances you may have with your family, you have a heavenly Father that cares for you. One evidence of that is the fact that you are reading this, He wants to tell you that He loves you and He wants to show you how good of a father He is.

The definition of the word “father” in the dictionary is, “a man in relation to his natural child or children”.

Given that definition, you may be asking, “Is God my father?”, “Am I in relation with Him?”.

God created us in His own image and likeness. Genesis 1:27 AMP

And we know the story of the fall of man back in the Garden of Eden and the events after that.  We have sinned against God and we do not deserve to be His children.

So, does this mean that God is not our father?

God loves us so much. He loves us so dearly that even though we have sinned against Him, he still cared for us and still poured out His love through His Son Jesus Christ. John 3:16 NKJV

So, let me tell you this as I have already mentioned earlier.

God is our father.

In John 1:12, the Bible tells us that as you have received our Lord Jesus Christ and believed in His name, you were given the authority and the privilege to become a child of God.

Isn’t God amazing? That regardless of what we may have done in the past He still loves us and welcomes us into His family!?

Maybe you’re thinking that you have already done a lot of bad things in your life and that you do not deserved to become a son/daughter of God.

I am telling you right now that you are wrong. God loves you and He is waiting for you! Below is a short video clip demonstrating how God loves you and that He will still accept you regardless of what you have done in the past. This is based on the “Parable of the Lost Son” in Luke 15:11-25 NIV.

I hope that by now I was already able to convince you that God is your Father and that He loves you so much. To add to that, being God’s child doesn’t just give you a title. Being a child of God has a lot of benefits for us which I will be discussing on my next article.

I want you to be my brother/sister and be part of the big and growing family of God. As I have mentioned earlier; in relation to John 1:12 and John 3:16, you must accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior to become a child of God.

We know who Jesus is right? He gave His life for us, for you, so that we can be saved from the penalty of sins and have eternal life. All we have do is confess with our mouth through a prayer that we believe and accept Him. Romans 10:9-10 NKJV

If you have decided to accept Jesus and become a child of God, below is a sample prayer of salvation that you can use as a guide or actually pray the exact thing. As long as it is coming from the heart, GOD hears it.

“Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”

If you have prayed that prayer, CONGRATULATIONS and WELCOME to your new family! You are now an official son/daughter of God. You now have a Father in Him. A Father that will love you unconditionally and endlessly. A Father that will protect you and will never forsake you.

You are blessed!

P.S. I want to hear from you so feel free to drop a comment!
